Curse of Oak Island - History Channel treasure hunt

new season starts November 10.

 

They need to get somewhere with this... It seems all they do is dick around with theorys. There's got to be more to it.

 

I was completely involved with the first season, watched every second of every epside, but now I lost interest, I used the same line talking to someone about it "all they do now is dick around"

 

I was talking to the guy that does the drilling for them a week ago at work. I wont give anything away

 

I'm guessing if it was some amazing, earth shattering discovery it would have been on the news

 

I have a feeling the Island won't give anything away either. Speaking of that DB Josh I was watching some of his new show and it seems all he does is piggyback on real explorers in hopes of taking some sort of credit if anything is found. Tons of research and hours put in buy others and he comes and crashes the party.

 

Im taking geographic science in school just over an hour away from the island. Next year in school ill be taking remote sensing, id love to have the chance to go there and do some work for a school project if that would be at all doable.

I'll wait until they are all on-demand. Then I can watch the whole thing and fast forward through all the bull-shit. You can cover the entire season in less than an hour this way.

It's kinda like watching a show about bigfoot, you just know they won't find anything but some bear fur and a distorted foot print. Nothing game changing going on at all except high expenses. But I'm still hooked for some reason

Hooked because there IS something down there. They just have to get to it! Amazing how something so simple has unraveled many a man over 200 years.

 

I've been watching it. Doubt they'll ever find anything. I mean with today's technology and excavation abilities. They should be able to get down there in a few weeks. But I'll still watch haha

 

They've never wanted to completely tear up the island. What's left to capitalize on if they do? The thought is, or at least WAS, to make it a vacation destination once stuff was found. Hard to do with a torn up island. How many people here would go to spend a few nights after they found something if there WAS a hotel there?

 

The new episode was on ondemand, it was just another 60 minutes of "we want to get to the bottom of the hole, it's not safe to dive, let's speculate some more" with some commercial breaks.

Yeah I'm hooked. Still watching. I know they never find anything but I still watch

I also watch hunting Hitler which cones on after. Same deal there. Won't find anything but it's interesting

 

It's all fucking bullshit!!!! Bigfoot Bullshit! Lost Giants ,two brothers I grew up with in Little Hull, MA Bullshit! I wanted it to be great! Not much on the results side!
