I like to think it was inevitable.
This is exactly what I discovered. Not sure how your light is affixed. Mine had no visible hardware, and was basically siliconed on fro the factory. If I dont' have pics in my media, I know I do at home. I'll dig them up if you want. There was almost zero slack in the wires to pull the light away from the cap, so I had to work pretty surgically and carefully.
WITAF is this bedliner shit. A few peopl have said they think the mag gray looks good like it is, but I need this to be color matched auto finished so I can sleep at night.

That's about what I saw.. no obvious clue on how it's attached, probably just end up scrubbing that area out with a brush really well so I can both get it clean and see what's going on, and then squirt it with some kind of sealant.

What did you use to seal yours? RTV?

The OEM plastic panel will go back over the smooth aluminum plate. It is not the diamond type. I want stuff to slide in anf out easily...at least until it hits the rubber bed mat.

Anyway, I have a kneeling pad and a hoe to deal with knee comfort.

    DON'T EVEN GO THERE.

No, I'm pretty sure it was just GE silicone exterior window/door/siding caulk. Was still holding great after several years when I sold it.

I think he's getting the spring liner from Summit Racing, or Speedway? I don't recall.

Curious on the benefits of the AAL without the top overload? What does that achieve?

1/2" isn't bad. What's your approx. constant load these days?

The sun glare on the 2015 Entune screen/backup camera is horrible at times. Why the fuck don't they just stick this stuff in a binnacle like it should be. Why they point these thing at the sky is beyond me. My dad has a top of the line Accord from the late 90s, and the master temp control LCD panel is just about useless if the sun is out. I've noticed in some other cars these days they are doing this, but still. Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick.

I need to take some measurements first for potential attatchment points, then find one that will work.

Curious how the ride will be with the AAL installed.. if you remember to do so, tag me with a mini review or something.

My constant load is 225-250 lbs, and while I don't want to fuck around with my leaf pack too much, if the ride sacrifice is minimal with the setup you plan on using it may be something to consider in the future. My heavy loads are 1200 lbs +/-.

I knew I reserved some early posts for something. Apparently one of them was for mod weight calcs. Thank you spare brain.
Yeah, it came with the truck straight off the...truck. I thought fine, it gives me tunes and nave until I can figure out somethign better...eventually. Very eventually. But I have said WTF more in my cab while jabbing my finger at that thing.
Again, they could not have tested this with actual human beings living life. More likely some tech on a bench under a budget and deadline and who was dead inside and couldn't wait to get home to his 300 SF appartment in Tokyo to beat off to his new issue of TENTACUR BEAST MUCH MIRK ONO
I googled a few options last night, but need to take measurements before I try anyhing. I had a fantasy to make my own hard binnacle that would install behind the head unit, or even rotate the entire thing out from the top and encase that. We'll see.

For now a torn apart piece ot Chinese takeout box and duct tape may need to suffice.

:anonymous: I dislike the entune thingamabob screen crap in the Highlander enough that it was actually part of my thought process in deciding to just keep my '07 and not sell/trade for a '15. That stupid thing just has a way of being irritating. :notsure:

Yeah. Like when you scroll through sources, and you hit one source you don't have, and don't want to have, and it gives you a stupid message, "derpa derpa derpa you can't do shit until you touch the screen...FUCK.

Not like I have even opened the manual.

Traffic. Turn on truck. No data, fuck you. But I want to leave now and check my best route, try again, no data fuck you.
Thanks. Thanks so much. My phone can always do this in about 5 seconds.

Nav. Can never seem to get it to track where you are moving unless you put in a destination. Swipe the screen to move it, and bing! Here's is a random address you poked at from space! Weeee!

    B-52 carpet F-bombing.
