No you just need some basic wire to ground it, also I don't see coax cable in your links get this. Some people cheap out on coax and wonder why they have bad reception

I don't but I can get one later today, where do you plan on mounting it? Mine is back by my tailgate on driver's side. For the ground, just use some 14 gauge copper wire and bolt it up to the frame or anywhere metal. If you go to frame, scrape a little paint off so it has good contact.

pretty much, mine is mounted to the bed rail. So for the ground just run it from the stud of the antenna along the coax to somewhere for good grounding.

I think on mine I will mount it to the bumper and have a bracket to keep it from smacking the shit out of my light and tail gate

You'll be fine without a ground wire there as long as you scrape paint off the antenna hole and mounting hole of that bracket.

You could but if you want to be sure of a good grounding, I would just run the ground to the chassis. From those bolts where your mount is there is a possibility of the ground not being at 100% because between those bolts and the frame, there may be something preventing that good connection.

You can always check with a multi-meter for a good ground before you get too deep into tuning.

So grounding to the bolts on the mounting bracket that I have off my bedrails isn't a proper ground then.
