I was thinking more along the lines of letting another NJ winter take it's toll on it

That's what I thought. My hole is right in front of the rear-forward spring hanger beside the muffler. It's a double layer part with a manufactured hole in the inner piece.

Well after reading through this thread which took some time I have made no conclusion. lol However thank everyone for all the help I still learned a lot.

This thread is like watching the search for big foot, you think they are going to find him, but they never do.

I have this clunk everyone is mentioning. I have Factory LCA w/original bushings, but I am sure due to the abuse I put my truck through that is why they are worn out. I also have 56,xxx miles so it is time. If @nj636 ends up having a clunk free life with his new found option I will go that route.

Right now it seems I'm either replacing with all new OEM LCAs or Upgrading to a different brand all together. Which I can't really afford right now. Either way I need to do something before I need new tires, because this whole shitty alignments and clunking isn't working for me anymore. I would like to take care of this and my Cam Tab Gussets all in one shot, but it isn't looking good.

    Not enough
I was in the same boat and ended up going new OEM LCA's and TC cam tab gussets while hoping to see better options after another 50k

LCA's are out, any tips on getting the bushings out? I have the cam bolts out and I have a set of moog bushings to go back in.

    What the fuck?

Quick update, I burned out my old bushings from my OEM lca's and reused the metal bits along with the energy suspension parts for the 4-runner. Worked perfect and been running for 6 months.
2007 Tacoma DC 4x4 and the parts were for the same year 4-runner. They didnt list the part for a Tacoma but they worked perfect. Just takes a little work burning out old bushings and salvaging the metal bushing sleeves.

Update, replaced the Lower ball joint and shocks, and the clunk went away. Still loving the Moog greaseable bolts and energy poly bushings.

Looks like you have a first gen, it's a little different on 2nd gens but I will still give it a shot. I have about 40 different cup sizes and adapters for the bj press

yeah it is hard to find a cup to just fit over the bushing flange without sitting on the flange.

99% sure I can get them out without much issues, how do you press them back in? Anti-seeze and gentle hammer taps?
