Not that easy. Ive looked in to it but it would be a lot of work. I've been looking into buying a welding. If that happens and I have some time, I might give it a shot. I can live with it how it is for now though. There's another guy on here that had a 96 with a plate bumper that has a HUGE gap. Can't remember his name though.

Well you said you have 33x12.5s on your truck. That does two things to your mpgs:

    1. Lowers them. Heavier, more friction, etc will obviously have an effect on your fuel economy.

    2. Is your speedometer calibrated for the larger tires? If you left the stock speedo gear in with the larger circumference tires, theoretically your odometer/trip meter is probably reading shy of actual mileage.

Have you ever cleaned the intake (MAF, throttle body, IAC)? Do you know the truck's history of such maintenance?

Same question for spark plugs and wires.

^ I'd start there. Cheap and easy maintenance.

You mean to tell me this whole time I mistook this pissing match as friendly banter?

I'm very well hydrated, thanks for asking!

Pitman puller. Cheap tool that saves lots of headache. A variety of uses on the 1st gen Tacoma. I keep it in the truck.

Current gas mileage. I just drive it, no egg under the pedal. 285/75-16 E rated tires.

Just throw a winch in there and say it's designed like that. You'll won't tell the difference. It is a few inches to far tho. Besides that it lines up well. Mine sits out 6-7" but I designed it that way so the fairlead sits behind the skid not on it.

Allpros is like that and CBIs too. Not many that don't as most are designed with 01-04s.

I could of sworn I checked that one cuz I noticed it at night. I'll check it after work. It is a relay and a fuse correct?

Today I... Walked outside. Saw my pile still on jack stands, instead of on the trip it's supposed to be on. Shook my head and walked back inside.

I think the pre-runner style bumpers are designed with high speed through the brush in mind. In that case you want the bumper to stick out and keep branches from slapping into your grill and hood.

If we did that, it is very very old. And had to be to be custom requested to be that far out in the front. We wouldn't do one that sticks out so far unless it was requested like that.
