I have a 2008 tacoma. The 4x4 hubs won't disengage on either side. Driveline from tcase to diff spins freely until engaged in four wheel drive.

Your CV's are always engaged with your hubs. There's no mechanism to unlock your front hubs.

So what exactly is the problem?
The front driveshaft can be turned by hand when in 2 hi, the CV's will turn in 2 hi (When the truck is driving).

Deezy, I think you got my question perfectly. The shafts from the diff to the hubs are always locked. I was unaware that they stay locked.
Everything works great for the 4x4 options. Thanks guys!
