talk to your original salesperson or service writer, you may already have some points that you can apply to a discount...or possibly an open box buy,i asked for a discount and they gave me one...but I've had my trucks serviced there since 1999.also,the part you posted are 2in.

Most sliders are built on order. I have a set of Avids being built right now. BAMF also has sliders for the 16

IMO 12 weeks is way too long to fill an order. How long is your AVID order being processed?

Anyone know of good slider sources in canada?
I was looking at Bamf but by the time you add shipping and customs etc, gonna be upwards of $1200. Bit too much, would be nice if I could find something cheaper.

Ok. I've got questions regarding all these steps. I am not a big off roader yet but i will do some down the road (only had the truck for 2 weeks, need to baby it right now). I also use the truck for running around town, towing, etc. Anyway, my questions:

    1. I understand the rock slider route but they may not be the best for my wife/kids
    2. I was told that tube steps do NOT lower the ground clearance but what about predator steps? I am leaning toward predator steps as they seem to be a crossover of the tube steps and sliders (somewhat).
    3. What about running boards - they are essentially the same as tube steps except flatish?
    4. Anyone off road with the predator steps - how's it hold up?

The predator's steps hang down slightly so you lose a little ground clearance but I think you would be fine with mild off roading. I think they look great as well. You could also look into the nfabs, same concept, just a little less expensive

Mounting location comes into play too, if it's attached to the body and not the frame, I would not use them as rock sliders. They would still help to protect the paint and with getting in and out of the truck.
