    Whats up TW,

I am looking into purchasing these parts to lift my 2015 Tacoma DCSB 4x4 three inches. The truck is stock with the OEM Off Road wheels and tires. I am not too mechanically inclined and was hoping for feedback on this set up. I don't really off road, but would like to do some in the near future. This truck is my DD and I don't want the on road ride to suffer. If anyone can give me their input on the build and a heads up on the little parts/things I will need in order to complete the install that would be great! I was thinking this FOX set up or Bilstein 6112/5160. Not too much cheaper really, but does save at least 400.00 bucks or about 800 If i don't do UCA and only an AAL.

    It's a never ending $100-$200 a week thing & still going.
Have you checked out Allprooffroad, they have a kit "Lola " that has all the parts you listed. Fox shocks and break line extenders, uca's, and add a leafs. For $2200. Could be an option for you.

That's a 200$ difference between the all pro one and stuff op listed but the op has a full leaf set vs an aal.

Personally I'd just go with a full leaf pack and be done with the stock leafs. It will be worth the extra 200$

I was only letting him know about the kit. He also asked about things he might have missed like brake lines. Plus if you factor in shipping from all the different places you would order parts from that could add up, and you only deal with one shop. But feel free to do as you wish.

The kit does include break lines, will I need them with a 2 inch lift in the rear?

You can go up to 3 inches in the rear without extended brake lines. You'll be pushing it though if you ever droop your wheel.

However, if you wanted to upgrade to steel braided stake lines someone on here sells them at whole sale prices. I'll see if I can find the link.

They also make everything easier. For example, I installed an AAL a few months ago, should have gone full leaf pack but hindsight is 20-20. I could barely let the axle hang for fear of overextending the lines. Was a real bitch to install. Soon, I'll be getting Dakars and new brake lines.

Key word "girlfriend". As long as that's her title you don't have to answer for sending your money how you wish.

Not trying to jack this thread but I have this exact set up and trying to see how much of a rake I will have if I keep my 2.5s up front and put Dakars in the rear without any leafs removed. I don't want to preload my Springs too much up forward so right now they are at 2 I believe

I call bullshit here. Live in GF isn't an official ball and chain. You will understand when you get married!
