Ahhh that makes sense. I would call that part the "coil bucket" even though we don't really have coils on their own

For you guys with resi's, make sure the hose is not under duress. Meaning not twisted, if it is loosen the hose on one end and turn it appropriately. I didn't do this and I think that's what caused mine to come loose after a few hundred miles and now have to add some oil...

2.5 would be close to maxed out. No preload at all seems to be about 1/2" lift

King RR coilovers Ironman leaf springs 17" scs sr8 jet black 285 75 17 Yokohama geolandar Demello front bumper Brute force rear bumper
Finally installed my coilovers this past weekend. At first I didn't adjust the coilovers at all. Just installed it right out the box. I was running out of time so didn't adjust it til today. Out of the box, it gave me 1-1.5" of lift. So today I started cranking the driver side down 7 turns. It's about where I want it, 2.5". Drove around the block to let it settle a bit and measured again. For some reason the passenger is now even with the driver side. That's without me adjusting the collar at all. I can see it being 2-3 turns of the collar difference but not 7. Is there something wrong with this?

Driver on the left. Passenger on the right. Passenger is still 1/4" higher. I checked the springs and they're identical.

Yea that's how mine are. Driver side sits bit lower with the coil overs cranked higher than passenger.

What are your guys' thoughts of the Kings for those that installed them from the group buy? Happy with your purchase or wish you would have gone with something else?

My truck sagged on the passenger side despite a lot of pre-load, and none on the drivers side.

Swapped in a new set of coils, problem solved.

I bought mine used and had to rebuild them, but nothing rides like a king. Mob a driveway into a parking lot and the truck just turns it into a smooth road. Offroad it's a whole new animal. The front works so well that my stock back end was just flopping around like a dead fish, the front soaking it all up.

Wait, I just installed my kings about three weeks ago straight out of the box. After reading some posts, looks like I need to adjust to get even higher elevation? What was the factory preset? I thought it was set at 2.5" to begin with. I did not measure prior to installing so I screwed up to see what I gained. :(
