Hello everyone. I have been reading the forums since I purchased my 2002 Tacoma 4X4 last spring. It had 180k on it but was (and will remain) super clean. I simply love this truck. I could have purchased a 2nd or 3rd gen with fewer miles, but the classic Tacoma look of the 1st Gen is what I wanted. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I will have to shoot some more. This is the only one so far and it was after I took her home.

I love the look of that. Id get black headlights for it though! I love the size of the first gens, so compact.

Welcome! Good choice on the 1st gen  At first I wanted a 2nd gen until I got a first gen. So much more character in the 1st gens. Easier to work on too.

I found another shot I took the next morning. I took those creepy star caps off the wheels that afternoon. I couldn't drive it around with them on. Anyway, dealer stickers and crap are gone now, she runs like a dream.

Yeah, and a less-useful bed like ours, right? :)

    Nice looking truck!

It's no surprise it runs better now. My vehicles always go faster after I wash them, heh.
