Still don't care, even if I'm wrong, which I also don't care about.

    Thanks for the links.

If you want more real numbers, look on backcountry or rei at similarly rated sleeping bags (35 degree). The mummy bags that also use synthetic insulation are all 1-2 lbs lighter than the selk bag because of their thermal advantage. In other words, mummy bags can use less insulation to achieve the same comfort rating.

Anyone hit up the last REI garage sale???? I ended up grabbing some packs. Lucked out and left with my loot and kept it under budget
I work in the airline industry so I do a decent bit of traveling and spending short visits in new places means opportunity for epic naps.
    My current EDC:
    -Osprey Kestrel 38
-ENO single nest with some p-cord
    -40oz Hydro flask (hail hydra)
    -a Mexican blanket
    -Klymit inertia XL
Multi day trips, we bring a surplus marine corps 2 man tent. it's bulky heavy but warm and weather tight and we got it for 100 bucks.

Well i think ive finally completed my "jacket for any weather" collection. Picked up a Black Diamond Access Hybrid Hoodie jacket (last years model) from a REI deal of the day a week ago. Its got a nice athletic fit to it and feels better in "climbing" motions compared to my colder weather jack. The fit on it is perfect too. Fits good in just a tshirt (not to roomy) but also has plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt or my down mid layer.

Now i have a jacket for summer hiking (minimlist jacket), a rain jacket, the Access Hybrid, then my cold weather ski jacket.

I'm going to REI today to get some new boots. The ones I have are starting to get a little snug. I hate going to REI, I want to buy EVERYTHING!

This thing is pretty bitchin' for the minimalist. Need a new stove for backpacking, might check it out.

Not a terrible price on Amazon for it either.
