    forgot to add, yesterday during checkout/delivery overview found a rock gouge on the front driver fender as it meets the hood. that why I hated having my truck on the front of the transport.

    now they have to take it to a bodyshop to fix it.

    the more i see this blue, the more badass i think it is. it's pretty much the only color, in my opinion, that works with the black and chrome at the same time. everything else looks good with one or the other. how does this color hold up, though? and how do folks feel about it after a number of years? is this the equivalent of the slightly overweight middle-aged white guy driving a yellow Camaro around with a Bumblebee/ Transformer logo?

    I'd look at Speedway Blue as a good example. It started lighter, but most people attest that it lightens with UV exposure over time. It's a mixed bag when it comes to approval of SWB and most seem to like it still.

    Personally I wouldn't even hesitate. Between SWB tacos and world rally blue WRX STIs I have always loved a good blue. This one is definitely a winner.

    A lot can be said for regular waxing as far as color deterioration and UV damage, but that goes for any color really.

    yeah im still trying to get over the hump from the hood scoop. so use to the last taco w/o a scoop.

    oh and the paint protection film, it was put on like crap compare to my 4runner.

    my 4runner its like 2/32 from the edges, on the Tacoma it varies from 5 or 6/32 to 2/32 from the edges.

    guess its the difference of a 4runner done in japan and a Tacoma done in north America.

    Mine arrived with the same issue but in the rear. I'm assuming it was facing backwards... I didn't see. It took three extra days because of it. They took their sweet time.

    it will look like crap from the drivers seat. from what I can see from the drivers seat, it will only cover the hump that the hood scoop is part of.

    in case anyone in interested, a key fob from a 2014 4runner will NOT work during the fob registration procedure on a 2016 Tacoma.

    I tried the new procedure and the classic and it wont work. bummer that I would have to carry 2 fobs.

    that is using techstream GTS_10.20.030_TME_NDSI

    Are you sure you got the JBL stereo??? JBL in the TRD Sport (DCLB) only comes in Inferno Orange and (DCSB) Grey according to the build section at toyota.com.
    (Maybe just my region?)

    That's true for the 4x2's in blue...u can't get a blue TRD Sport 4x2 w/sunroof...maybe the 4x4's are different?
