How did you do this? I really like this!

Thanks for the pics of the bed rail installed! I have asked this about 10 times. I already bought the bed rail from a gen2 so I am ready to throw it in the bed once my truck shows up!

    Excellent.
Although if I get a gen3, I want the factory tonneau.
After seeing one in person. Do want!

As part of the deal when local dealer toasted my engine....i made them give me the back rail off of my old truck. they even checked to make sure it would fit. Now if i could find the time to install it.

Then why do you need a bed rail? Just push it up in there

Its about the same amount of time as taking the wheel off and putting it back on... i leave the straps in place so no adjusting or anything, Although i have a 20mm thru axle and didnt even know they made TA fork mounts

Here is a motorcycle tie down bar for your truck bed:

    http://www.dirtwerkz.com/Pages/racks/bedbuddy.html

You can find these in various lengths to fit midsize and full size trucks.

I'm glad it fits. Sometimes I carry 4 bikes. Btw, that part that comes on the bed comes off. It's bolted on with the same screws that the bed rail is held on by.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was thinking about.

Now I just have to decide if its worth the time and effort to remove the factory tonneau and install this rail on the rare occasion I haul the bikes, or just pull my small aluminum trailer...

Where did you screw in the bed rail into? Did you have to drill new holes?

Also where did you get your bed mat at?

Installed my first dimple then removed it.
Bed rail screws into existing holes no drilling required.
    Amazon has the bed mat.

You can find the rail cheaper here.
