not sure if this will work, but I just saw this on FB... 2016 with a 6" BDS lift, and of course, some 20-something by 12 rims and lo-pro MT's :spy: looks pretty cherry, but that sure is an expensive pavement princess.

I kinda, sorta, really hate you right now... Congrats on the new truck though, looks awesome!

So I finally got a chance to go down today and make my order on the truck I want and even though they didn't have it in stock, I still got a full price breakdown so here we go.

    2016 Tacoma

TRD Sport, Double Cab, V6, Auto Transmission, 4X4, Short Bed
    $33,700

    Destination Charge
    $900

    [kinda] Mandatory Tow Package
    $650

MSRP for the above was $35,250 but they dropped it to $34,000 so if I did my math right.... They charged me $32,450 for the truck itself, which is about 3.85% above invoice, full destination charge, and full tow package charge. I think?? Regardless, I'm not complaining about the price because I felt that it was reasonable. Especially considering Servco has a monopoly on all Toyotas here and could charge whatever they wanted.... Then the rest of the costs were:

Some miscellaneous installed stuff I wanted added in
    $377

    Documentation Fee
    $175

Subtotal (which includes the truck, desti charge, tow package, discount off MSRP, misc stuff, doc fee)
    $34,552

    Hawaii Sales Tax of 4.712%
    $1,628.09

    Hawaii Registration Fees
    $393.20

    Total Price (a.k.a. OTD Price)
    $36,573.29

Hope this helps anyone reading this get a good idea of what to expect when it comes to purchasing one of your own.

    Edit:
Oh, and I passed on all the big additional charges at the end like additional warranty, tinting, etc.. Gonna go get the tint done later on because I have a feeling it'll be less if I go directly to the tinting place rather than through the dealer.

someone also asked what I paid otd earlier, I found my paperwork $36.165.44
I basically have the same set up as you less your
    miscellaneous installed stuff for $377
so looks like we paid the same.
traffic is killing my mpg. so far only getting 13.7 =/
at least that's better than my jeep at 9.5

For the people who got a 16 Tacoma, how many keys did yours come with. I only got 2 master keys. I swear all my other cars came with 3 keys. 2 masters and a valet key.

Just stopped by Mapunapuna Servco and they have choke 2016 Tacomas. They also had (4) white TRD Pro 4Runners that are around 5k more than the top of the line Taco. I looked into pricing and options and I'm a bit disappointed that they discontinued the factory JBL subwoofer in all but the Limited model. Also, the rail of the bed is a bit higher than the 2nd gen so camper shells and racks from 05-15' will be offset and may or may not fit. The rail now is snug to the bottom of the sliding rear window. The one I want (DCLB TRD OR 4x4 with all options) is around 40k out the door. A bit pricey in my opinion, especially with no JBL sub. Probably just gonna keep my 12' for a long time.

    Not a fan of 20s.

Raycie, I think your T4R came in. I saw a nice silver one at Mapunapuna. Sticker price was around 37k

wow, if the bed is higher and flush to the rear window, I know my camper wouldn't fit very well (Snugtop XtraVision). my rear windows line up perfect on my '14. bummer for the '16 owners who want camper shells... gonna have to wait til someone comes out with a new design and there won't be a second-hand market for a while.

Yep I have the exact same camper and was hoping it'd be compatible with the 16' so I wouldn't have to drop another 3k for a new one but Snugtop will probably have to do a redesign :( I did see one of the 16' Tacomas with the factory Tonneau (flip back style) which looked pretty good and seemed to be offered with all the packages so I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of them now.

You getting the Trail or Pro? From looking at them, I feel like the Trail is a better deal for the 6k price difference. Especially since the suspension is only about 1" higher on the Pro so most likely it'll come off for a 3" plus you can always add the grill and emblems if you wanna have the Pro look.
