It isn't mine just found it off social media. If you have an Instagram the guy's name is Zeig_91. I don't follow him but he's been featured a few times.

Hopefully they fixed the fubar actuators that were in the 2nd gens. The E-locker is supposed to be internal and much improved, I would hope the figured out the T-case and front ADD as well.

I just don't understand what Toyota has against a reliabe mechanical lever. I don't even like the push button 4wd in my 1st gen and its only gotten more electronic since!

They sell us what the majority of us want. A slim minority wants to row through the gears with a manual trans and manually shift into 4wd. What we want is 14 cup holders, heated seats, and magic sensors that automatically sense the terrain and auto pilot us to safety. It's coming, look at the Tesla auto pilot. I'll just keep driving my 25 year old landcruiser...

Went out deer hunting today, didn't see a buck anywhere. We did stumble across some chanterelles though

What all do you have to do? Come to a complete stop, let the clutch out and press and hold it again, and twist the dial? That's how my '14 is. I also had to read the manual to get it right.

anyone know someone whom could fab a bracket for me to hold (2) POD lights at grill level with the bracket coming from behind the grill.
I have not found anyone whom sells this and BAMF does not have anything as well that would allow the Light Pods to be in front of the grill, and I do not want a Bull bar or anything like that, but something cleaner but holds the lights just above the bumper area.
I am in the Ridgefield area but Portland/Vancouver.. its all good as it seems to be a simple fab and then Powder coat prior to bolt in and then, mount the lights

DIY man, pop the grill out and see what there is to mount the lights to. Even reinforcing the grill surround and mounting there would work as light as those lights are.

Come to a complete stop and then push the dial down and then turn it. Once I thought about it, I do the same operation in mine. Its just that I go through neutral on my way from lo to hi with the 4wd lever.

Ehh, no one even knows I'm here. All I do is work anyway. I'm boring.

In other news, Crawl2Run Fab doesn't seem to want my business.
The guy waited a 9 days to get in touch with me, so I assumed he blew me off.
Friday afternoon he texts me with a, "are we on for tomorrow?"
    1. I don't know where his location is
    2. he hasn't given me a quote
    3. I don't have the price (just a ballpark estimate)
    4. I don't know what he came up with for a gate closure design
    5. I don't know if he has all the parts for the tasks
    6. some of the tasks weren't fully drawn out
    7. I can't get them to email me, it's all texts
    8. There's hints that they want to pack up and go to Bend ASAP

I told him the details and that I couldn't commit without knowing what I was committing to.
I haven't heard back. Time to find another welder.
