My name is Josh, and I'm new to TacomaWorld. Well, new as member; long time reader though! This week we finally started to get some new 2016s in at the dealer. Pictures included. Limited model. Note rims.

That price is stupid. The Canadian Limited's don't even come with the nicer 18" wheels.

The TRD Off-road ECLB in blue is $36,998 MSRP. That's the one I'm interested in!

Wait till you see where they want you to put the block heater. We did one on Friday and totally ignored what the Toyota instructions said. We put it on to the left (facing) of the driver's side fog light in the plastic trim.

How did you manage to buy a US Toyota? I thought US dealers would not sell to Canadians.

You could buy direct a few years ago like late 2007/2008. One of my friends and I bought 2 new 2008 trucks in New Hampshire and saved about 12k each at the end of the deal. The last time I checked was when I bought my 2013 model and the price gap had closed to within about 4k and it was a real gong show to buy new. It could be done but it wasn't worth the effort of heading south and losing my tax savings on a local trade plus the new arrangement to buy new wasn't something I was interested in.

So finally made the long drive to Cochrane to test out the TRD sport upgraded package as they said they could compete with Country Hills Toyota. They had a beautiful 3" toyo lifted inferno with TRD rims and BFG tires…exactly what I was looking for!
I test drove it and concur the truck is quite gutless from 0-30km/hr, but handles awesome from there on. The ride was smooth, and the lift on the truck handled perfect. The truck was shifting a lot as i drove into the wind which was a bit annoying, and the damn hood was whistling like my current 2012 truck!!
After all was said and done, the demo truck had 400km of bagged km on it, and they were offering $1100 off the total msrp demo price. I thought this was a bit of a joke seeing Country Hills was offering $2000 off a new ordered truck!! I talked to the manager and he was extremely cocky and rude, and basically told me to wait 6 months and get out. He literally did not allow me to counter offer and walked away from me. The salesman looked embarrassed as I was forced to storm out. I will NEVER do business there, regardless of there so called customer service.

So Toyota did not fix the windshield noise issue when it sounds like a kazoo in the wind? So dissapointed.....

I took my 2010 to the dealer. To me it sounded like a kazoo.
