..Sweet!...debating between AC and DC....really need the LB...and also need the TRD-OR.....just a little concerned about that extra 13-14" offroad on trails?....

...only considering the DC for extra space for gear...would rip out the seats in back.....my primary use is for Nature-photography and camping...so don't plan to lift or rock-crawl....

....will leave all that fun stuff to the guys who are serious about it!.....Lemme know how it handles for ya offroad, OK?..........Enjoy ur Taco!................Cheers!.............

It's been great, so far! I was looking for a DCSB as I had a 2008 AC and then a 2011 DCSB, but I drove this thing and was really impressed. I never thought I'd get a double-cab long bed! Feels barely any different and has more space, obviously. I think they did a great job with the 2016, especially with the off-road long bed option.

I got it from Kendall Toyota of Bend! I utilized Costco pricing for $1759 off MSRP, and a $750 new grad rebate!

Kendall ,that's it,Ressler is in Bozeman Montana, neither one would budge, but it sounds like you got a pretty good deal,I would have paid more to actually be in a truck already. My build date isn't until the 31st.When you get a chance can you post some more pics, some different angles and stuff? What kind of upgrades do you have planned? Lift,Tires ???

I added a few pictures into my album, check them out! I used crawl control going up a fairly-steep mogul section to get to the top of this butte. The trail had been a bit beat up since I was last out in this area. Wifey was scared, but it worked great! What figuration did you end up ordering? This is my daily driver and weekend warrior truck and I think it's very capable as is. I'll see how the tires do in the snow, and go from there. The new suspension is much better than the 2011 DCSB OR that I had, and it's much more capable overall.

Oh man, I really wanted the magnetic gray, but orders couldn't be in for 12 weeks! I was on the way to drive to Portland to look at a base model Off-road in the MGM and Toyota of Bend called me about this truck. I got it with Costco pricing, so I figured the lighter shade of gray was worth it! Bend is an awesome spot. That butte is 10 miles from my house.

This weekend my band played and I filled up the back of my '02 Tacoma to the brim with gear. I realized how much fewer things I could get in there with only 1 foot less of bed. Having the double cab also means more gear in the cab too.
