I purchased a new 2010 Prerunner the other day. I have wanted one for years. I did not get any floor mats, was told they were al recalled. I had heard of the problem but didn't think about it when I went looking.

Anyone else not got any floor mats?.............

The day I picked up my 2010, First thing I did was installed WeatherTech Liners and packed the TRD ones that came with it away. BTW these WeatherTech fit my truck like a pocket and are excellent quality. They tend to get lil expensive but I think its worth it.

They look like great mats, but you did get some mats from Toyota when you bought yours. When did you get your truck? I would like to know when they stopped putting them into trucks, or if I was lied to about the recall.

They gave me Toyota TRD floor mats which are great but since I am in the ARMY and for my hardcore boots, I need hardcore floor mats/liners as well. My boots are always covered with snow or dirt. These Liners keep the carpet dirt free. I paid 30K for this truck but atleast I got two set of original Toyota Mats free.

I got my truck 3 weeks ago and the sales agent was upfront about the floormat's issue and offered me Rubber TRD mats for free. But I think the original issue is with the stock floor mats moving/sliding when you are driving your truck.

Weathertechs, personally fabricated tailgate lock, tint, extra D rings, Exactfit seatcovers, re-enforcing the tailgate and adding a leaf next week.
I bought my truck about three weeks ago. According to the stealership where I bought mine, the recall stemmed from a guy driving a Lexus with two floor mats on top of each other. The top mat slid under the brake pedal and over the gas pedal. When he tried to brake, he actually hit the gas. He placed a 911 call, but wrecked and killed his whole family before anyone could help him. Or, so the story goes. Anyway, my mats were waiting in the bed for me to install after I left the premises. My truck is just a basic and the mats just say "Tacoma", and isn't a Prerunner, but that shouldn't matter. I think you got ripped. As mentioned, the Weathertech mats are like a glove. A buddy has them in his Ram. The hug every detail of the floor. I have been thinking about looking into them, myself. But, still, you should have got some mats.

My dealership pulled all the mats from their cars before I bought my truck last month. They credited me $75 though which I put towards a set of WeatherTechs.

Lol. Do you still have the window sticker off your truck? Does it state floormats. If I remember correctly, the floor mats come as an option group. It sucks you have to pony up for mats on a $30K vehicle. Wethertech or Husky liners are both excellent alternatives to the traditional carpet mat.

I bought my 2010 3 weeks ago and the dealer had me sign a waiver saying it was OK to leave the floormats installed (otherwise they would have removed them and delivered the truck with the floormats in the bed of the truck).

I have WeatherTech mats on order.

Bought mine about 3 weeks ago as well and the dealer would not install or allow me to install the mats on their property. Gave me the Lexus story as well. Being a smarta$$ I asked him if I had to take them out when I brought the truck in for service. Said he did'nt know but he would check. Heres your sign!

I've got an '09 with the "Toyota" all weather mats. They are installed per the instructions...in the hooks and not placed over the carpeted mats. I just can't see how they could EVER be a problem if installed the right way.

Besides, I went out and had a talk with my truck about what it's intentions are. We came to a truce and it promised to never kill me as long as I wash it and change the oil regularly.....oh, and buy it an Avid light bar.

Got my 2010 DC one week ago and all floor mats were pulled and I didn't get a free set of rubber mats. I just ordered the weather tech mats they are pricey but in NH the winter is coming and rubber mats that work are a must.

GTVAPSAMTIK did the mats come with the hooks too? thanks

There are two holes in these liners for the hooks.

My 2010 SR5 Access Cab came with carpet mats installed. I think they owe you a set of mats. Check your window sticker, mine were listed on the sticker.

4 days ago got my 2010 Tacoma. They gave me tacoma carpet mats at cost from the parts counter. $105.00 for SR5 DC. Window sticker didn't have floor mats. I ordered the truck the way I wanted it not from what they had on lot. Didn't need hitch today, nor did I want toyoguard on it.
