My buddy has them on his 4Runner in 265/75/16, lemme see if I can find a pic. He seems to like them a lot.

I'm liking these. Just may be my next tire. Now whether to stick with my current stock size 31/1050/15 or go to 32/1150...

i went 32x11.5 with the cooper STT. noticablely lost some power even with the v6. dont know if its the same here cause these tires may be lighter than the STT

That's the biggest concern I have w going to the 32 especially having the 2.7 w 3.91 gears. I don't want to feel like I'm driving an '85 ranger like I did in high school :-/

According to treaddepot, the old STT's were 31.8" tall and weighed 49lbs. the new STT pro's are 31.57" tall and weigh 52.8lbs. Apparently the newer version is shorter but heavier. I wonder which makes more of a difference in power loss, weight or overall height

Just ordered these from desertrat.com , I shopped around for days and couldn't find a better deal. I'll post pics next week when they arrive . I had the original STT two different sets because i loved them so much . Now they changed the sidewall and let the duck commander guys put their name on it so I decided to go with the new design STT pro 285/70/17

Nice. I'm anxious to hear about the differences in wear and road noise compared to the originals. Especially from someone who ran the originals as well

OK guys, I have been driving on these for almost 2 weeks now :burnrubber: and I love them! I had the previous version twice before because I loved the tire and especially how much cheaper it was than the Toyo open country M/T. Well one down side to this tire is that its not as cheap as the previous version but after reading a great article ( ill post the link )about them I understand why. As far as noise, These newer style are a bit quieter than the older style. On the road handling they feel about the same traction wise, but I havent driven in rain, mud or snow yet. They hook up really great in sandy dirt and with El Nino on the way I will be posting updates later in the season when I can hit some snow and good mud. Most of all, this tire looks bad ass, the sidewall is way more aggressive looking and I keep getting compliments on them everywhere I go. These are also a 10ply tire and honestly the ride is not that bad at all.
