I'm sorry but I have a 4.0 v6 TRD sport (07) an it has more power than that. And I know it'll climb a steeper incline Bc I've done it :)

Here's me today. I tried to capture the pitch. I'm guessing 30 degrees at best.

Edit: looked back at my post, and it seemed more dickish than I meant. Eyeball guesstimating a slope angle never works. I deal with it at work all the time.

ha, I've taken my week old 2016 on a few trails already and it already has a bit of pin striping. Whenever someone comments on the fact that it already has scratches I just tell them I'll buff them out later. Its hard to explain to people that won't leave the pavement why we choose to do what we do.

Ricer? Isnt that a term used to refer to japanese automobiles? Which the tacoma is? I was just saying that something ridiculous like crawl control is only available with an automatic transmission because people who drive real transmissions wouldn't want or need a truck to drive for them. This is the reason manufacturers barely make any stick shifts, everyone just wants cars to drive for them.

So the "Crawl" mode is some hands/feet off driving? I'm just guessing here, but I would think that most any Taco could do that on concrete surface, traction, and peddle control. Or am I just totally confused?
I'd like to see that "Crawl" mode on a obstacle with loose traction, and some serious grade to make be a believer. Cynical I guess.

Tons of videos of the mode crawling out of situations like buried in sand, etc. It's actually very, very impressive.

Holy crap,Bob must be driving that suv, but something looks fishy about that video,it kinda reminded me of the old Batman episodes where he was crawling up the side of a building!

I still don't understand what it does different than applying light throttle. Does it work in both high and low range? Does it rev the engine to a higher rpm but brake the wheel to get slower rotation? Just trying to figure out what it does that my foot currently doesn't.
