what is a complete used SC kit worth?

if I could get a complete used SC kit for $2200-$2500 would it be worth buying it? and what if he wouldn't come off the $3k asking price? is it worth that much?

its said to be in good working condition with unknown amount of miles on the SC (he guestimated 40-60k miles) but they always lie so I would assume it would need rebuilding just to be safe.

its a Trd supercharger (black version) off a 3.4l 5vzfe and comes with the 7th injector from urd, urd afr sensor calibration box, urd 2.1 pulley, tensioner, belt, dipstick relocate bracket, and a set of brand new, unused stainless headers (unknown brand) and im thinking there has to be a reason he never used the headers wouldn't you think?

 

any way, im thinking all this new would cost about $5k right? so is $2500 about the most its worth paying for it all as used stuff? or am I underestimating its used resale value?

Probably realised how big of a PIA it is to install headers. Whats the reason for removing the kit?

 

I would say it would be worth it at around $2500. Especially if those ancillary parts are included. I can't see myself paying $3000. Especially since new ones are being manufactured at that price point. The day I find one under $2000 is when I buy it.

 

Like any parts it depends just how bad you think you need to have it.

Then one persons good shape is my ready for the scrap pile.

he said he never installed headers but when I asked about them he said he thought they should just bolt on but im not sure if I buy that, sounds like BS to me because why wouldn't you install them if they just bolt on.

yes I saw them, but it doesn't have the 7th injector urd ad-ons for that price and they would be another grand on top of that.

this is pretty much what I was thinking, that if I find one between $1k-$1500 just for the SC and what comes with it and $2k if it had all the other ad-ons like 7th injector, headers, and urd, then I would be very interested in it but that would have to include all the extras too like listed above.

yes that is the one I was looking at when it was at $1500 and was willing to go as high as $2k but I am no longer interested other then watching the feeding frenzy over it to see how high it goes.

I wouldn't trust it anyway since the bidding is rigged, check out the bid dates on it, one guy jumped the bid from $1700 to $2k but the bid was made the day before 3 other bids took it from $1500-$1750 and this bid rigging jump up the bid to over $2k

 

well if anyone was curious, that SC and extras went for $2,750 + $65 shipping so that = $2,815 someone paid for it

it did have everything but I would have only been tempted to buy it in the $1,500-$1,750 range and felt its "honest" value to be only $2,000
