After shaving some small amount of metal to fit the screw on the driver side. I was surprise to see the passenger side are all aligned. No clue as to what happen during the QC at Toyota. Nonetheless, here are the pictures of the installation. I would say, the only time consuming is the shaving off metal (as least for me), and aligning the hole for the hole punch on the weather strip. Other than that it is just putting the rack together. I noticed after posting these pic, my flare is upside down. Has anyone had their flare upside down? Drove around town and didn't hear any wind noise. I will test it out tomorrow on the highway with the flare upside down to see how the issue with wind noise. Few of mine friends stopped by to see the rack and couldn't compliment enough. Awesome rack.

Zach, I noticed there were only 9 flare screws were shipped? Are the other 5 other holes on flare suppose to be naked?

Zach, I meant the wind deflector or (fairing) here is the pic. Shouldn't there be screw for the second row? I used 5 screws to attached wind deflector to the bar. 2 screws on each side for the side rail. Hope the pic help.

You may want to put the other 5 screws on the deflector and rail, going 65 to 80 mph on the freeways puts a lot of pressure on that plate. Just to be safe. IMO........Nice looking Taco man!!!!!!

The mounting bar for the defelctor should be attached with the longer machine screws with the torx head like the other crossbars are mounted with. The phillips screws are too short for this location and wont provide enough strength. That should free up 4 of the small screws and you should have 1 more so all ten locations can be tightened down on the deflector. If you are missing the one let me know and I will send another.

Zach, sorry for the confusion. I'm short of the 5 short screws. Yes, I didn't mount the long torx on the side. Basically, there were only 5 screws came with shipping.

Hey does anybody know the measurements for each of the mounting holes under the weather stripping?

They are all 6mm holes. If you need the measurements between them or relation to each other I would pop the weather stripping off and measure. Even with the sticker over them you can see the indents where they are located.

Is anyone on here running an ARB 1250 awning? I'm considering adding one off the rear of my PrInSu rack on my topper but I'm not sure if the width will work for me - ARB lists them as 49" wide but I'd like to get a real world measurement from someone rocking one. Would be looking at something like this..

Zach, didn't you have one on your cab-rac at some point?

I had one at one point. 49" is probably pretty close if you measure the length all rolled up with the cover sticking out. The actual canvas itself is probably only like 47-48". It works well. I ran a CVT 55" off the back of my shell and it worked well also. Finally decided to move away from awnings hooked to the truck for the time being. I am working on getting a shade/shelter that can be left if we need to take the truck and go somewhere.

Thanks, and you're right about the mobility part being the biggest downside. I think I can fit a 49" one up there if I shift the passenger side awning further forward but I'll have to do some more measuring.

Have any of you Prinsu owners found a way of attaching Yakima accessories?

At the risk of sounding even more stupid....my yakima ski rack attachment looks like it only attaches to a round crossbar, does yakima make a different bracket?

Some of the older ones only accommodated round bars. In that case I would look for an adapter like the mighty mount or you can remove the bolt that connects the ski attachment to the round bar clamp and use a carriage bolt in its place to bolt the rack right to the extrusion crossbar.
