What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Drove it down to the Expo Center and got me a new snowboard for half price at the ski and snowboard show.

I guess the heat from the exhaust kinda made the clay fuse to the piping....almost all of it is still on there haha.

 

She passed VT state inspection today, despite having the CEL on for cylinder 2 misfire (replaced plugs, wires coming next week), no horn, no parking brake.

Didn't do this today, but yesterday. I added some new decals from sockmonkey

 

I would beat a dickwad for that if I found out who did it..... people have no respect.................

 

Finally got rear tsb done and just gotta get some front 5100's to level her out. Can tell a noticeable difference in ride especially over bumps at speed.

My wife hates this site, every time I go on here I find something else that I "HAVE" to do to my 01. So far the past 2 weeks have included:
1. new frame and the rest thanks to Toyota
2. Husky liners
3. AFE Prodry airfilter
4. KYB Monomax rear shocks (I know, everybody loves 5100's, decided to be different)
5. headlight restoration using Crystal View from Advanced Auto
6. Cleaned all the dog snot off the insides of my windows, that'll last about a day

Soon to come: some Coverking seat covers, replace front shocks, and possibly an AAL

 

Dude we are in the same boat... I get the same from my wife. She told me TW is costing us too much, and that I need to stop going on here...... YA RIGHT. But she always tell me how good my truck looks now.

So while at URE I kinda brushed up against a tree, but the scratches were quickly covered up by dust mud and clay.

Well, now that my truck is clean, I found it

 

the mud on mine was a big beeotch to get off man.

 

I installed my Stubbs sliders and did a little underside painting.

 

Buffed/compounded, and then waxed the whole truck today. It's finally cooler here in Florida. Looks nice and sparkly now.....

 

Yeah, Got'a do the same to mine this week. I bought a new buffer and a boat load of foam and terry cloth bonnets last week. I'm going to use polishing compound first, then a good coat of wax. Weather is suupose to nice this week, so I hope to get it done before next weekend.

 

I went this morning and got a buffer and a few extra bonnets myself. I did the liquid 3M rubbing compound, then polishing compound, then... waxed it. Needless to say, after 3 hours of that, my back is a hurtin'. But it sure looks good.

Hope you get to do yours, I bet that red will look incredible all shined up!!!

 

I did my first big mod today, and I gotta say Im proud of myself. I installed a new Alpine iDA-X305 today with my dad and this thing looks incredible! I'll post a pic as soon as i can
