Thinking of adding factory oval tube steps to my 2011 Magnetic Gray Metallic Access cab. I am going to keep the stock wheels. Are the factory oval steps available in black? I like the factory tube steps, they seem to sit tighter to the body. Not sure if the silver would match the wheels and look better then the black. Appreciate your thoughts. Joe

i wanted the black tube steps cuz you dont see too many people with em, but ended up going with the silver cuz they're a better match with the rims and the factory skid plate (look at my sig)

I am also looking for a little advice. I am looking at getting a TRD Off Road in white and was wondering if it would look good with black side steps? Wheel will be the 16 inch alloy wheels.

I also got a 2011 MGM. It's a Double Cab TRD Sport and I just install some black tube steps on them.

Black tube steps, Skid plate, Bilstein 6112's front and 5160's rear, Bakflip F1 folding cover, EGR raingaurds, All weather floor mats, AFE pro dry filter, BFG 265 70 R 17 KO2's.

I think the black steps with the MGM look amazing!! Do you have a factory skid plate??? If so, does it throw it off with only the wheels and skid plate a similar color? I think it would look good, but just checking.

No skip plate, but I do plan to get one. I was thinking of getting a skip plate and painting it black . I'm also considering getting some black rims. Just taking my time in finding thee right black rims.

If u look at it from the front, the skip plate looks good. BUT when I picture a skip plate in my head in a 360 walk around I feel that it doesn't' match the overall color scheme I want.

What are you guys paying for the OEM chrome steps in the US. I have seen some tutorials on installing them and it seems like a pretty straight forward 24 bolts and that is it.

I am in Ontario, and I was looking at the OEM. Toyota ones. They are almost 700 bucks. Trailfx come in at 699 with the welded caps. Do the OEM Toyota ones have plastic caps on both ends. Those prices are in US dollars? Also fit is an issue. I see a lot of the aftermarket steps seem to have a large gap between the rocker and the step. Not a good look.

Why this instead of the rock sliders? You still get the step up feature, but more functionality off-road.Plus they tend to be cheaper!

Could you do me a big favour and measure your steps from front to back. I will be sending them to my US address and bringing them back to Ontario. I need to know what vehicle they will fit in. Thanks in advance. Inches please.

I did already. The box is 91 inches. I just wasn't sure how long the actual steps were. Thanks a bunch. Btw We have a place in Richmond hill that ships anywhere in Canada for free. Partsengine.ca
