    Certainly a great idea! Would be nice to have a good place to secure a long gun for sure. I'm already looking into a console vault for up from for my pistol.

    I have the console vault. Fits my m&p 9, m&p 22 and 38 super. Definately worth it in my opinion. Just don't expect to fit anything with a 6" barrel. Oh also the sides are bare metal so u may want to carpet or pad with something. I so want this back seat storage for long guns

    They won't be sealed shut for water proof if that's what you mean? They will all have a powder coated finish though.
