Apologies on the thread resurrection, but I’m in the hunt for a particular bulb size. I replaced all my gauge cluster lights with LEDs, and everything went fine except for the low fuel warning light, which wanted to stay on all the time.

Here’s the reason I’m hoping you size gurus can help.. when I pulled all the incandescent bulbs the low fuel warning light was slightly larger than all the others.. it had a grey socket if that helps (as did a couple others but they were all the smaller type 74 bulbs, most of the sockets were black). The socket accepted the 74 no problem, but I’m thinking the bulb is staying on because of a resistance issue and I need to figure out the proper bulb size, something just a little bigger than the others, yet still smaller the 4*194s for the main bulbs.

Did any of you who also replaces all your warning lights run into this issue?

I’ve put the incandescent back in for the time being so I have a functioning low fuel light, but I’d like to finish off the conversion correctly.
