We even have stockers come, there's everything from mild to wild in Moab :)

My current job I could probably make it happen, but I'm looking at getting another job, so that might change lol

On top of that, rolled into Moab at noon on Saturday of the holiday weekend this year. The town was nothing short of a disaster. It would suck to have the event conincide with probably the busiest weekend of the year for Moab

What do you mean, that is a perfect time to check out arches! It was like this, but went ALL the way to town.

I forgot about that. I remember rolling into town and seeing all the cones in front of Arches National Park and I was like wtf? Turns out they had such a big surge they closed the park temporarily. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/...hts-fire-under-Arches-controversy.html?pg=all

If it's any later this year I'm going to have to get my air conditioner fixed. It was almost torture a couple times last year. Also going to have a mostly new suspension next year which is the only mod I can do without having to do a bunch of other things. More travel in the rear with better shit up front. Maybe even a regear with 33's and one locker if I can swing it, and maybe a new front bumper and winch.

Can't add more weight or bigger tires to the 2.7l right now without the gears. Don't want to do gears without taller tires and a locker. I think I need a raise.

I went one year in the middle of june in a 1980 Toyota pickup standard cab, had an engine swap and no form of sound deadening or carpet, I could see the ground through the floor, engine and trans heat pouring in and no A/C. I think that's the closest to death I've ever been. lol

On the other hand though. It was fun laughing at those people wasting away their weekend sitting in a mile-long line, and ending up at such an awesome camp spot we had all to ourselves that night!

I got into moab off the kokopelli to shower that morning that they shut everything down at arches, leaving my group to sleep in and meet at lunch in town. there was a deli we were going to meet up at with another group at noon, the deli sold out of everything and had no truck til the following Tuesday. the group I left that morning, drug a stock rubicon down rose garden and took til about 3 pm to get in. At that point I bailed back to Denver but saw first hand that mess of a day. Tough decision ya'll have to make.
