Go to car toys or best buy. It takes a lot of time and work to put in an alarm. Ask me how I know? If you can afford 2 to $300, have it done. Plus it's warrantied! If not then pick a decent one on Amazon ($75). They are all pretty much the same.

So here's a photo of the rusty LBJ and bolts.

    What a disaster.

Think the irwin set might work? Every bolt thus far has been torched. It's either irwin tool or find a knuckle.

Just saw this big bastard in town, isn't a first gen but it is certainly cool. Looks like it's on an 80 series crusier front axle suspended by ORI coilovers and a four link setup. The rear had triangulated shocks and some pretty mean leafs and shackles. Pretty cool sight for around here.

Clean up bolt, weld nut on, take bolt out. Easy and free. Heat from welding helps break it loose aswell.

What do you mean you can't unscrew yours? I'm sure when it's time to empty this thing I'll have to take it out completely and remove the bottom threaded part.

Its a solid aluminum container with only a drain plug, so I can't access the inside.

Looks really nice, what made you go with the KOs over the KO2s?
I really like the hood striping!

Oh..why would you need to access the inside? So you can see where the oil level is at?
