How you liking the wranglers?

 

So far so good! Drove 4.5 hours to Toronto on them and they did great. Have been great in rain and very light trails. They're heavy (got the E range), but I haven't seen much of a change is performance or mpgs. Would definitely recommend

 

Noted. I too run E-range and I fucking love em. If i can get 24mpg with 53lb tires on steelies then you won't hear me complaining!

 

hell yeah. thought about going C range with these, but I heard too many weak sidewall horror stories on the wranglers. the C's have 2 ply sidewalls and the E's have 3 ply, so I figured better safe than sorry. I get around 20 hwy and 14 city. good enough for me.

Fuuuuuuckk yeahhhhh 20mpg before doing math, correct for the 17% change and WABAMMMM! 24 mpg lol

I can even throw my dirt bike on the hitch and get the same mpg on the highway as without it

 

@WheelInTheSky you playing with another dudes taco or are you coming down tommorrow.

 

Haven't heard from him, so I'll come on down to taco town.


As an aside: Let me point out that "Taco Tuesday" had nothing to do with Tacomas, it was actually going to be a lunch of Tacos and Margaritas. Also, the guy I was going with drives a Ford Ranger sooooooooo... there's that.

Man, Rausch is 7hrs 45 min from Dayton. I don't think I can pull that off for a weekend trip. I want to check it out, but I would need more time.
