Theres a company that makes a male pin fob that fits into a female spot in the vehicle. My buddy had one installed on his wrangler and it was pretty nice. With out the fob theres no way to start it.

@DCSBFTMFW I provided plenty of legal reason you need this mod! Then OP came back and proved me wrong saying he did need it for illegal activities :bananadead:

The night vision aspect is new! you would want to go black out if you were using night vision, however once again brake lights remaining on would be a big safety feature you may want to leave alone..

he has an 07 but back on topic Im not a mechanic or a electrician but the humvees are very basic the dash is lit by two bulbs and thats all the light thats in the cab so blacking them out is probably a lot easier than blacking out a 2015 tacoma. If you could do it and have blackout lights it would be cool.

I did some editing and I never said for illegal activities.......just didn't want people to think its ok driving down the road with lights off

It would be nice when I'm pulling into the field where I hunt so the guys in the field across from me dont see me pull in. That's the only reason I would ever use it if I had it.

How can a thread get removed/ banned?? What about the first amendment?? Even though hes asking about something "questionable" as long as he's not threatening anyone shouldn't OP be entitled to free speech?

Free speech is limited per the rules of the forum when you make your account here and agree to abide by them.
    So no.

And if you don't understand how that works then great, make a thread about it.

I was just asking a question, just like op was, no need to get all worked up. I was just wondering but don't even care anymore cuz I can already tell you"ll have a cow if I stretch this any farther. Later

Short answer is that this is a private forum run by Bob

If he and the other staff deems something not acceptable here, we can remove it

First amendment/free speech is your right to speak out against the government without them censoring you

OP, typically these ideas don't go over well. You're not the first, second, or third to ask...only 1 person has ever successfully done it I believe and he is long gone because he decided it was a good idea to discuss how he used it to travel the interstates at high speeds (he had some old mil NV setup too) while claiming to be enroute to emergencies for his company and he couldn't be bothered with speeding tickets

I would think there are other, legal options for you like dimming the dash and applying a layer of tint film on the cluster

    TL;DR
We'll close or delete threads we want

OP this topic isn't really cool here
