I like. Personally I may have left the Toyota logo in tact. Other than that, nice!

That's funny you say that. I was the exact opposite when it came to getting my taco. Was fixated on the quicksand and as soon as I saw the Sky Silver... I had to have it. It's such a staple color that will always hold a history with Tacomas.

The quicksand is a pretty cool color though! I like it a lot.

I almost kept the black chrome. But I decided not to at the last minute. To be honest, glad I did. It's just not my taste. I like that solid matte look.

To each their own brother... If you like it, that's all that matters.

I tried to remove the Toyota logo and ended up breaking a tab. Decided to stop there. I was thinking dipping it a matte silver.

With that said, @JerryTaco, how'd you get the logo out?

As far as I can tell, it's a single use emblem. Only way to remove it is to break the tabs. I had a back up on hand, so that's the one I painted and installed.

Makes sense! It was very fragile and not too easy to deal with.

I wonder how much the dealers try to sell these for?

Let us know how the Line-x goes. I called my local line-x and they weren't 100% if they could, so once I get my Taco they told me to bring it on by for them to look at.

I think you have to do the bottom tab first - very carefully. I got mine off and back on without breaking it.

This is something I've been mentally wrestling over. Do to do it all, or leave a little contrast. I may also black out the Tacoma on the sides... against the blue I think it may look pretty good. I have a while still before I even get my truck, but I want to have a decision by then. lol.

I would leave it chrome and try it out for a few days if not then just hit it with the black. Contrast is somewhat good to have because unless its a blacked out truck, other then that it makes it easy on the eyes IMO
