Ha! I literally JUST did the mod this afternoon! Took about 15 min.

 

Looks like you guys had another fun trip! One of these times I'll get to go. I got to spend Saturday at work watching a valve leak all day. Of course the 2 hours I was supposed to be there turned into 10

 

Mine just took a rock and about two seconds!

 

Lucky for me, #northwestaco told me to remove mine and wire tie it out of the way a couple months ago, or I wold have busted it for sure. Surprised yours didn't break before now.I just finally got the time to finish it!

 

I would have removed it and zip tied it up had I realized the nature of the trail. It's time for skid plates and a lift!

 

Yeah, I have 3" lift, and last time out, I ground a rock hard enough to put about a 1/8" bend in my IFS skid! Without it, I would have had mucho $ damage. The guy with the stock truck pretty much pretzeled his stock skid. ( which is made of tinfoil, I think)
You guys did Gallagher lake, right?

 

An 1/8" bend? Or is your skid plate 1/8"?

I hit a crow at 50mph and dented the stock skid plate haha who screwed their stock skid real bad on that trail? Yeah we did Gallagher

 

Yes Gallagher Lake. Very nice up there. Will do it again with the RTT.

 

Yeah, it was a fun trip and nice to meet everyone. Definitely would like to camp up there next time, so i think an RTT and some Kings will be ordered in the next few months.

 

1/8" bend! Skid is Allpro 1/4". I hit bottom HARD slipped off a rock onto another rock. My bad wasn't paying enough attention. Damn near lost a filling from the impact.

 

Ok that compressor is going on the Xmas list. You mounted it behind the pass side back seat rest right? My Viair works pretty well, but gets so hot I actually melted the fitting off the hose! Got a better hose now.

 

The ARB gets as hot. I do have it mounted behind the seat.. I like it since it keeps it clean but it'll be loud and constantly on when I have lockers. Probably put an air tank in

 

Dropped the truck off at the shop tonight. Will probably do rear hoops for the shock mounts and he'll do the cab mount chop too. Should have it back soon!
Passed a badass looking dark blue double cab on 35's on the way there, not sure if the guy lurks here or not though. There seems to be a surge of lifted Tacos and Tundras around here this fall.

Hey @Greddy , when you installed your ICON UCAs (assuming you bought them new) was your steering complete SHIT for awhile? Mine is now. And I have found a few threads with other people talking about a "break in" period of sorts.
