Nascar 2015 season

i like the road courses too. i don't like restrictor plate racing. i like it when they can pass on their own and not pack race.... i hate the pack BS. and @MadDaddy he needs to pick a better driver like the 18.....

 

A daytona roadcourse night race would be the coolest thing to happen to the chase!

 

id prefer Atlanta 2.0 so I can go to more races!

 

We camped up on Mt. Cheaha which was great. $10 country buffets for breakfast, lunch & supper. Kids eat free at every meal. Great views from Bald Rock and Pulpit Rock. Decent hiking trails. Primitive campsites were only $15 a night. Swimming hole (too cold this time) and other options. Lots of bikers running the road up & down. I met a 1st Gen dually conversion with a fifth wheel in the bed coming down the mountain. Pretty neat camping rig. You can see the track from the top of the mountain and you can take a back way in & out to avoid the I-20 traffic. 10/10 will stay there again.

 

I'd like to see Road Atlanta at least get an Xfinity or truck date.

 

did they have BBQ? if I was in Alabama id be dying for some good old bbq...

Oh yeah. We missed the que at lunch time. We packed hotdogs & sandwich stuff.

 

I honestly tried. Even though I dislike that shark-eyed guy, I thought my kid would appreciate a Halloween themed candy car. He wasn't interested in the least.

 

to me I think Kyle looks like a goon, but hes hilarious. him and Samantha did a remake of the m&ms commercial awhile ago...

 

Either way it would be way more interesting to watch. All ive got near me is Chicagoland speedway which is by far the most boring race to watch in the history of racing.

 

I have a sports journalism friend who looks like Kyle and winds up signing a lot of autographs when he walks into the press centers at the tracks. He has some pretty interesting stories regarding his mistaken identity. He's interviewed Kyle a couple of times and says, while he puts off an arrogant air, he really loves this sport and understands the mechanics & engineering of the cars more than many other modern CUP drivers.

 

move south... me and @MadDaddy are close to Atlanta motor speedway, dega, Bristol, charlotte, darlington, and not TOO far from Daytona... we also have road Atlanta, and dirt tracks...

 

haven't seen him be arrogant since hes had a kid....

 

Barber Park is just west of Talladega and also a fantastic facility for motorcycle and open wheel racing.

he seems down to earth now. I follow him on fb, and he seems good, always trying to get fans to interact

 

I wish I could. Car counts at our local tracks are pretty slim.

Last bit of news, not sure if anyone heard (or is interested, honestly): Justin Allgaier is reportedly replacing Regan Smith in the #7 Jr. Motorsports Xfinity car next year. Throw Smith's name in the hat for that #9 RPM seat.
