What would a light do that pulling off the road and filling up won't do?

Oh that's right. Fix the problem. Can't be having any of that.

lol...i like gruel, everyone should have to eat gruel...is that the way it is? or, Nobody should do any mods that "I,me, personally" don't find useful? :boink::crapstorm:

It's nice to know when your in traffic on a hour's long drive when you're gonna run out before it does run out, so you CAN "pull off the road and fill up", WHILE you can still see and time the stop with traffic or available service/rest areas?

When lights fail, common sense must persevere.

In this case, there is no light. So, common sense be damned, I guess.

I've never been so helpless so maybe I'm not the right person for this thread. Adios.

Not at all. Life is good.

I just have a low tolerance for ridiculousness.

I fail to see how asking to put a common option on a vehicle is either helpless or ridiculous.

    Are floor mats a mod?
Ok, OP, maybe this will help. Look at West Marine website for a vertical fuel tank sensor. ( tempo brand?)It could easily be installed in the flat spot next to the filler neck on the tank. You could use a Tempo brand gauge, then you would know the current level from full to empty.
Jus a suggestion. Also, maybe just install a gigantic tank?
Wipe fluid is like cold milk in the morning. You never miss it until it's not there.

I, myself, would like a light indicator of the dash so I can see when my washer fluid is getting low on me. While I drive my truck, it's best that I have control and that I have clear vision through my front glass. Without me, my truck would be useless.

It wasn't quite that I was just using round figures. The sticker price was $39,059 and I think I paid $36k and some change to be exact.

Wtf happened overnight??? Good gawd you guys ripped this thread a new one.... Some good replies tho.... But MAN.

A low washer fluid light isn't that much to ask for! Yes, off course I can check the fluid easily and I do. But like someone mentioned, driving in dirty melting snow on a congested freeway at 75 mph it's easy to go thought a gallon of that fluid and yes I can pull over and refill it but I'd rather not deal with fighting my way back into fawking traffic especially is no one is kind enough to let you in... CO interstates are damn war zones, you gotta fight to make your way through.

I'd just like to know when I am running out so I can take an exit to gas station, fill'er up and maybe take a leak myself! Not too much to ask for....

If any one has driven on I25 in CO melting snow gravel and mag chloride can completely deminish your visibility within seconds.

    End of rant....

There is a handle somewhere near your driver's seat dash. You pull it and it unlocks the hood. You then lift up the hood and there is a little tank on the lefthand side that usually holds that blue fluid. You check it and fill it every 30 days to make sure it's got enough fluid.

If you are too incompetent to do that on your own no one and nothing can help you. Not even an engine light.

This has to be the worst "third world problem" thread I have ever seen.

I bet you take your car to the dealer for fluid fill ups when it's low too.
