I was the ONLY one who voted no?!

I like the de-badged look better... but that's just me!

Glad that you like it OP!

^I think it depends on the color of the truck. I think it looks dumb on top of black paint bc of the lack of contrast. It looks best on white trucks imo.

My truck is white and I did the black plastidip, hated it. I then debadged for a couple of months but every time I looked at my tailgate, it looked so plain. I now have my badges back on and honestly, it looks the best that way.

Seriously, just leave your truck alone, it looks the best that way. I do think the side badges look good removed, but the tailgate looks too plain removed and the black look reminds me of high school.

Debadged the tailgate cause it was chrome overload, especially with the "Prerunner". Left the side Tacoma and TRD stickers alone

I have always de-badged all of my vehicles, and I was a bit skeptical, but this came out pretty nice! Still prefere de-badge, but if you gonna have 'em, this would for sure be the way to go! Nice work!

I plastidiped the side and front emblems, and debadged the tailgate, not sure if I want to put them back on.

Are you guys pulling the emblems off, plastic dipping then putting them back on? What are you using when putting them back on? Doesn't seem like masking would be very clean...

Many guys leave them on and do it. Overspray onto the paint will just peel off, so no worries there; however, you still want to keep the spray line close, to avoid it all peeling off at once.

Some guys have used toothpicks to lightly 'carve out' the inside gaps of the letters and/or carve out the outline of everything.

It's doable either way - just depends on what you are comfortable with. Doing it on the truck saves time, but is a bit more difficult to get perfect - but plenty of guys have done it with great results!
