I can recommend Pipe and Tube Supply in the Little Rock area. A co worker of mine bought some material to build a big pot rack recently and they delivered it for free. http://www.pipeandtubesupply.com/

I've also used Pipe and Tube Supply and was happy. For what they don't have I've used onlinemetals . com. They have a distribution center near Dallas and usually process and ship pretty fast. I've ordered material from them on Fri afternoon and had it on my doorstep Mon morning. That was a small order though. Their shipping can get high if you're ordering larger components.

Any of you NWA guys swapped out a clamshell before? I'm swapping mine out with new gears the first week of December. I'm a bit nervous doing it myself, but looks doable.

Is there anywhere in the NWA region that you can cut down your own Christmas tree?

http://www.wonderlandtreefarm.com/ in Pea Ridge, I've been out there a few years ago, nice place, nice folks. Pick a Virginia pine, skip the Leyland cypress, they're are too flimsy and can carry Seridium canker to other trees. Tour the Battlefield while you're there.

Freshman dorms I imagine since it's required. But have no idea which one, I guess we'll find out during orientation.

Any recommendations would be an awesome help...

Any where in the Forrest where we can get one? Don't even know if Christmas trees grow wild up in the mountains over there.

I wouldn't be too quick to go out into the woods to cut down a tree without knowing the area really well. With national forests, state parks, privately owned land and such. I'm sure there's a place, but I'd guess you'd be hard pressed to find some easily accessible land with good "Christmas trees" free to cut down without stepping on toes. Just my two cents though.

I completely understand. I use to drive up in the mountains when I lived in Alaska and cut down our Christmas tree. Was hoping there was a place like that around here but I figured there wasn't.
