Meh. I remember when I first found this place. I truly earned every lump I got. Fresh into truck forums, not knowing what a search bar was. Also, just signed up at TTORA. Wow what a difference. If you are looking for a straight forward, dry, technical forum....head over there.

What I found out though...was that if you just sit back, and read a bunch of pages of stuff, long before you post....and only respond to topics that you actually know about, toss in a little humor/sarcasm, you will get along just fine.

 

I likes popcorn.

 

Hell, I lived in the NCAA Football forum for a few weeks. Didn't even look at anything else...Funny Pictures, Gifs and Things That Make You Say WTF are great time killers whilst putting in hours for the man...

 

Then, you find a member like @BlueT and your life is forever changed. Popcorn intake increases, as well as sarcasm, next thing you know....its 3am, and the wife is wondering why you are still up, when you have to work in 3 hours as she is feeding what was apparently a screaming infant, that you had no idea existed because of your loud laughter.

 

FML.

I'm not the only one. Thank god. We should open a support group. I'll bring the popcorn.

 

I love it. I really do. His posts are so bi-polar. One minute, he has a valid point, then completely blows it with some grunting and murmurs...

 

I sometimes wonder if, instead of snoring, he mumurs comment about minivans and drum brakes in his sleep.

 

hahaha. The 2.7l in the 1st Gen (best gen...btw) was originally designed and produced, for a minivan. In its design, they wanted a motor that could handle inadequate maintenance, missed oil changes, and abuse.

Turns out, it was a pretty good motor. However, if someone, (ah hem @tcBob ) wanted to sponsor a D4d conversion from Diesel Toys....I would allow it.

 

I, too, once wanted to fix the interwebz.

Then I realized I needed a more achievable goal, so now I work on reducing the federal deficit by day and a cure for cancer at night.

 

I just resorted to masturbating my frustrations out but, hey, whatever floats your boat.

 

I replaced a valve cover gasket this weekend, so, there's that....

 

I broke up with my girl because she told me I couldn't modify my truck. (to hard to get in lifted truck) in the past few months I have spent damn near $8000. thank you Tacoma world for all the great advice and ideas.

 

Add the fleshlight mod to your Tacoma and you'll have no need for a girlfriend again.
