Love the weld bolt idea. Do have a torch. May give that a try. Heat bottom side that ratchet fits on or top side of bolt that is exposed or both? Maybe I will give irwin extractor and torch a try......

That was my extractor... then we grabbed his and before we broke it, we returned it... like fine gentlemen.

Anybody here ever Weld plates on their frame to reinforce it? (I'm not talking about prep work for SAS) my truck is no longer eligible for a new frame from Toyota so reinforcing it I think is my best option.

Well there are frame boxing kits for reinforcing the rear and there are frame plating kits for the front IFS area and for the rear area immediately visible through the wheel well. Not much available for the mid sections though.

Well...because the mid sections are already boxed. I recently (within the past year) did the rear frame plates from CBI, fit well with minimal trimming, but mine is a Dcab so they are all gonna need to be trimmed. Just skip around so no one area gets too hot. You will certainly be able to weld a decent bead when you are done.

Not a cruiser front axle. Looks like a right hand drop Trail Gear Rock Assault housing.

Depends on the invoice date. My 2003 was on the lot Sept 2012, so it's covered 15 years from then (Sept 2017)

I'd say you are correct sir. My bad, in retrospect it does look a lot more substantial than a cruiser axle.

We plated the whole outside of my frame from the front cab mount back.

The PO voided the warranty on the frame by not bringing it in for an inspection prior to 2011. The warranty was good for 10 years and could have been extended to 15 years...

Looks good! How hard was it to pull the cab? I want to pull my bed and cab so I can go over the entire frame.

Haha I've had some BAMF bolt ons for about 2yrs now.. Took them off a cpl wks back to touch up the frame and to 'refurbish' the sliders.. They've been beaten on pretty good!
