Lowrange offroad video shows 37lbs. but they also said use RED locktite while everywhere else says blue locktite. I found somewhere that said 59lb. So Im not quite sure. I went with 59lb.

3rd gen 4Runners use a lighter duty LBJ and accordingly the 37lb torque. The taco LBJ takes the 59lb spec.

Not hard, just 6 bolts and un hook everything connecting the engine to the cab, detach brake lines and fuel line. We lifted it off from the rafters in our shop, then had to roll the frame around to get out from under it.

You should get it. Worth the $60 but it might take you a while because I got the last 3 before he took a vacation.

We could do it while you're here lol. It's a ton of welding, but it isn't hard. I've done frame plates on a couple tacos. To pull the cab there is some stuff you would need to remove like brake lines, steering shaft, etc. Welding under the cab while mounted wouldn't be the easiest, but I think it would be doable. Pulling the bed is easy.

I feel dumb. Just realized that my steel spare tire takes conical lug nuts not the mag style that my alloys have. Glad I haven't gotten a flat in the last 3.5yrs!!

I have 1.25" Spidertrax, do I need ET lugs or are regular ones ok? Gonna order from Wheelers

129k? That's still youthful, plenty of life left. I passed 190k a week ago and hope to double that before this truck is done.

Thank you! It's funny because my dad told me he was doing the exact same thing at that time of his life, summer before freshman year of college. He was rebuilding a older 70s Chevy pickup. I'm very lucking that he was there with me through the whole thing. It was memories I will never forget.

I'm hoping for at least 250k-300K with the blower I have.

Toyota designs their engines with 300k+ (500,000 km) as their goal. If treated right almost all should make it to 300k or more.
