We have one about 6 blocks from my house here in town, and there is an alamo drafthouse near by in KC. I used to do weird wednsday movies at a local art house in kc a few years back and was always surprised by the turn out. Often the hard part is finding the 35mm prints in good shape for those old horror flick.

Im on a huge 80s slasher binge right now.... thank god for youtube.
Got the wife to agree to a halloween movie night, and she is going to watch a movie of my choosing, but I must watch hocus pocus (hate it for many reasons, but one oddly specific one) and casper. Trying to figure out what to show her.

Well, I know its a gothic romance story, but I am a fan of gothic and romantic (era 1830 to 1860s) books. Maybe it will be good. Never forgave myself for missing devils backbone and pans labyrinth on the big screen. I have yet to be let down by guillermo del toro.... even liked mimic back in the day....

    HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Bone Tomahawk has such a badass death scene in it:eek::cool:

Movie is super slow....like real slow. Great idea, concept, etc. but it's slow for me. When they get to the caves then the fun begins.
