Just a bunch of old crap
I'm one of those guys that doesn't like to go wheeling and leave any gear behind back at camp (huge trust issue with strangers, and gear I can't afford to lose). The RTT is the perfect solution, as I never feel stuck at camp once set up. It's weight also gives me better rear traction in tricky spots, especially with my open diff. Also, the trailers would be fun but it's a big hassle when wheeling in tight places, especially if you have to turn around on a narrow ridge or tight spot (could always unhitch and turn it around manually I guess). The RTT folds up so fast, and I pack so light that I can be packed in 15 minutes and on the trail with every piece of gear I brought.

    yep!!
I have thought about it, and the only way i could do it, would be with a trailer. but i have decided with the way i drive, a trailer probably wouldnt suit me well :)

not saying you cant pack up your stuff and go drive around, im just saying i like to be able to set up, and go romp around without having to pack up and un pack every time.....
the trailers are definitely badass and make camping a breeze, but im too busy putting money into shit that i break :) haha!!

i have never ever had a problem with missing gear from camp, and i camp ALL the time, and ALWAYS leave my gear at camp.... i can definitely understand being worried about it though... it does only take once!!

different strokes for different folks i guess :)

Bingo! I do what works for me, others do what works for them. An RTT won't work for me, I am not resetting up camp 4 times in a weekend and it will not make the ride in my truck, in fact if someone wants to strap their RTT to my roll cage I will be happy to take it for a ride through the whoops and we can test to see if it holds up :burnrubber:

I'll be using mine in Glamis.. should be interesting to see ho wit does.. see if the extra weight restricts me from climbing straight up Olds again.. maybe the rear end will be smoother now tho too.. :D lol

I really want to go with the Guys.. We all need to plan a trip. I only go out maybe once or twice a year, and its with our usual group. Its fun as shit, but sometimes tough to get schedules lined up, plus would be awesome to just be out there with a bunch of Tacos. :D Oh I definitely will be trying it out. lol

Slightly off-topic(ish), but, cruising up to Four Peaks (or Sycamore?) this Saturday for a little pre-rug-shenanigans if anyone is interested in rollin along with. I just spent 4 hrs detailing the truck Sunday and it's making me nervous having her so clean. Besides, I'm addicted to dirt and to hell with sitting at home this weekend. Although, I really *should* be knocking out some reloads.
