South Florida B.S. Thread

That's so far to travel for a truck show and dinner. It's 3 hours each way for me. Literally an entire day. I'd love to get something like that setup down here though.

Do it up, I don't think it would be as big of a turn out but worth a shot

 

I think if we actively all tried to actually set it up...we would have a pretty good crowd. Gotta give enough notice for some people to be able to make it and a location that works for everyone...

I wanted to do this a few months ago but never posted. I think South Florida is so "big" (joking) that no one wants to drive..

I would be down for a Toyota Meet all the Heeps have them....

A guy named Marco runs a local SFL jeep club called Locked N Loaded 4x4 (Instargam LNL4X4). He posts lots of Jeep meets all over SFL, I've been to a few and they have a good turnout. If we crated something we could have him push us on IG to get a larger Toyota turnout..

LOL. As soon as I liked the comment I started viewing some of the YouTube vids from when we went to the Homestead Humps last time (Remember the red VW Jett?) & I completely forgot to comment that yes, we need to set one up.

I'm guessing somewhere in Broward. That way it's fair for people as far south as Homestead and as far north as West Palm Beach.

I haven't been off-roading or doing anything with my truck or TW related since February.

@TAC1 Me too, haven't done anything... I think Broward is a good place. Although for you @AWorthyOpponent it still will be a nice drive.

Maybe mid November we can plan a trip to Lazzy Springs or further north Ocala..

 

Actually, Broward really isn't that bad for me. I live in Palm Beach County, but work out of our main office that is in Broward. I don't know how familiar you are with the area, but I work off of W. Commercial Blvd.

@AWorthyOpponent, I know that area. I live 2 miles south of Miami International Airport.
Have you been out to Lazy Springs yet? It should be about a 2 hour (or less) drive for you. About the same if you were going to the Homestead Humps. I think you'll enjoy it.

 

I would definitely go to Lazy Springs. Especially if that guy with the drone comes… LOL. Fort Lauderdale is about 35 to 40 minutes for me with light traffic. I don't generally go much further south than that and less I am using a GPS… LOL.

Seriously though, the guy with the drone is TRDAgule (David Rodriguez). I just remembered that I went to the Picayune State Forest this year in Naples, & he took a drone vid with it hovering over I-75 as we drove the smooth dirt road underneath at 60 MPH.

 

Broward? Well I am out. Not driving that much for just a show event. Wheeling perhaps but not just a show.

@trdagule has some good spots he can takes us. Lazy can be a good place to Meet/Wheel this year..

sorry to say this but I'm selling the drone I have now , so I can upgrade to a better one down the road ,but first I have to save money because the one I want is $4500 + + and I want to wait to see the new laws they are doing about drones
