My third day in the new SR. Heard a loud rattle coming from the dash. Persisted when I turned the fan off.

Immediate shock, denial, anger... visions of inconvenient trips to the dealership... angry conversations with Service... Lemon Law...

Then I realized. It was Waze having the vapors. :) Shutting the app off and restarting cleared it.

Urban dictionary has this to say:

    the vapors
A polite 19th century term women used meaning either

    1) Being emotionally overcome or

    2) Having gas
Oh, Rhett, I am et up with the vapors!

"Waze" is a GPS app that alerts you on traffic. I wish OP would chime in, but I guess he used that expression to say his GPS app was vibrating and he thought it was something wrong.

It's a free cellphone app. Not for the entune. - But yes, it shows real time traffic based on other users that have it. Also users can alert others of road stops and speed checks..

Mind giving us some history on where you learned that phrase or other ways you would use it?

I like looking at the road and vehicles in front of me, that's a pretty solid way to check out traffic and such.
