Think of it this way.. You could have the bumper 4ish weeks sooner than if you wait.

Do you have any shots of your truck straight on with the wheels and tires set up that you have? Im trying to decide if i am going to need spacers or not

it didn't on my last truck with these wheels but i had my fenders removed so i was thinking the same thing. The wheels @Chux has are wider and have negative offset so they look great. I may end up running spacers depending on how it all looks once i have it all set up.

IMO im not sure I would venture too far outside the stock back spacing. It seems like it would put a lot of extra stress on your wheel bearings. I like the look too and wish I could push mine just a bit but I'm just not sure it is worth it. Function>Form.

I agree with this to a degree. If you have say -35mm offset with tons of BS, then yeah you will destroy your wheel bearings. But if you have it minimal like 4.5" bs or so then it will only make a minimal difference. I wish there was a way to conduct a study to see exactly how much it hurts the bearings, like how many miles it takes off but we can't. I've been running 4.5" bs for the last 70k miles, at 134k miles now and no problems with mine.

I agree. The farther you move away from stock bs (5.5"? can't remember) the more the stress. A Little probably won't even be noticeable maybe 80k vs 90k on a bearing, but the farther you push that limit the the faster the wear. Some people care some don't. Just thought
    It was worth mentioning.

    Thanks chux

I think there is room to move them out a little. After all even some of the TRD pro wheels are moved out a bit. The 17" 4Runner TRD pro wheels have 4.5" back spacing. I thing the FJ trail team wheels have about 5" so. I think you won't run into issues unless you really push them out there. 3"-2.5" back spacing with 35s or something like that.

    Because working hands.

My truck is now 2 years and 5 months old and the top of the steering wheel has fallin apart on me due to daily driving and rough hands from work. It started as a hole right at the twelve o'clock hand grip and slowly got worse and worse. I kept cutting it back from fraying more but sooner or later it looked terrible and I ripped it all off. I thought my only option was steering wheel cover till I thought bout paracord! Just wrapped it in some cord I had and turns out to be a more rugged grip suitable for rough hands. Because I ended up removing the top layer from the steering wheel down to the foam, wrapping it actually fills it out back to size. I really dig it. Think I'm going to pick up some black paracord to blend in with the wheel better.

And Pelfrey sure does test your patience by sending this teaser box
