    Good points. He's a friend from work. Not an exaggeration. I consider everyone I work with friends, even if they don't like me or vice versa. But definitely lesson learned for the future.

    Another thought......The shop I had my vehicles repaired at did an excellent job. So good after a deer hit, I felt no where near as bad when I ran into a steel fence post that ran out in front of my truck. :)
    If you're happy with the repair, it goes a long way in quelling your anxiety about any subsequent damage. Take care !

    Definitely. I feel pretty confident in the shop, so looking forward to the repair to see what it looks like and hopefully put my disappointment to rest. The friendship is intact, just a little annoyed, but with time it'll pass. Thanks for the positive words.

    At least no one was hurt. I made the mistake one time of letting someone borrow my motorcycle. He ended up wrecking it and send his gf to the hospital. Even though it was his fault, I still felt responsible partially for allowing him to borrow it.

    He took the truck Friday, and said it happened Monday morning pulling out of his driveway. He didn't call when it happened but called when he got to the parking lot at work so I could come out and see.

    Glad to hear everyone is ok. And for a bike I'm sure that's a lot of damage. Bike accidents are a completely different animal.
