In my story I will describe a wondrous adventure one some may relate to. This is the story of how I learned the meaning, of not just my life, but the meaning of all life. Once several years ago I found myself backpacking in a remote part of New Mexico on a Boy Scout ranch called Philmont. This scout ranch has been visited by many different types of people over the past several decades. It is here where I spent 2 weeks backpacking with some of my best friends as well as people whom I have never met, for over 70 miles. On our first couple of days we learned a lot about each other, our perfect women and some hobbies. The second or third day is when things got interesting. As we were hiking we came upon a man who looked as if he hadn't showered in months let alone seen a television or a cell phone in his entire life. Later that day we listened to the man intently as we shared some Oreos and swapped tales of girls we would only ever dream of. What he also told us was this,

"Boys...there are three rules in life if you follow these rules your life will be better in every single way. Guaranteed." Those words have resonated in my heart for the past 7 years. Throughout college, boot camp, the navy, and most importantly the way my truck looks... But I digress…

    RULE 1: Look good.
    RULE 2: Don't die.
RULE 3: If you must break rule 2, NEVER under any circumstance break rule 1.

Now I know what you might be thinking. What the hell does that mean. Well what it means is this, ALWAYS look good, no matter what your doing. This man stunk to high heaven, had a beard that would make Canadian polar bear hunters look like toddlers. But I would bet my life that every morning when that Grizzly Adams put-to-shamer rolled off his unicorn horn and rock sleeping pad, and rolled up his porcupine skin sleeping bag, he looked to the rainbows in the sky and thought to himself “damn, I look good".

So, thats it, the man has given me the meaning of life. Now what? I applied it to every aspect of my life and think, will I die? Do I look good enough? Now to my problem… My truck does look quite good, good enough that if it were to die it would not break rule 1. But, my wife has had a bad tendency of backing out of our small apartment without looking behind her, even if she did look my truck is black and in the mornings she accidentally has backed into my front bumper several times making my bumper look less and less good. Yes it is true, if I did have one of your, well, simply put, amazing bumpers, my wife's car would be totaled if she backed into it. But that actually means I get to buy a new 4runner. Which means more business for you for matching sliders and other goodies .

So what do you think want to help make my truck follow rule 1?

P.s. Thanks for the opportunity to try and win a killer bumper! Hope you enjoyed my story

In all honesty though the other give aways like this the people that won were like reviewers of 4x4 parts or people that have lots of money into built trucks already. Not the dad on the weekend getting by and taking his kids to soccer in the truck. That market does not show good product promotion since ideally they want to sell more bumpers. All in all though some great stories and what not. @Crom has my vote since he has great photos and his focus through his build is taking his kids and family away from the city and seeing it all. Being 24 and with no kids I am now exploring this stuff with my wife which has been a blast but nothing like how it could of been if I had done it with a parent growing up. @Unchained 5150 ill still arm wrestle you for it in the end.
