Well there is another box that amps up the rca wires coming out of the converter. That's the box I'm talking about

 

I'm not sure. I will call the dealership when they open to figure it out. I'm not really sure how to handle it because I signed a contract stating I would buy the truck.. I'm not sure if I'm going to have to buy it and sell the other one or what.

Interesting, would have thought the LOC would do that sufficiently. Maybe needed for the lower line LOCs that don't put out enough V

Apparently you are not meant to be the driver of parental owned vehicles. They might just be better off buying you a bunch of Uber gift cars and stepping back.

Well if the deal is off I'll probably just go without a car for a while till I can make up my mind about what I want to do

JK, I'd be trying to isolate where the sound is coming from, then crawl under and look for shiney rub spots. Your little incident could have knocked some suspension parts out of alignment.

If your LOC isn't putting out enough volts, I can definitely see how they help out quite a bit. But now, if you'd have just done it right the first time...
