For what it's worth, those 2013's(if you pull out the beat up one that isn't in the sample), average $21,904 and 33,849 miles, that's a whopping $1,000 less than I paid for my 2015 Double Cab 2.7 Prerunner BRAND NEW in November of 2014

$1k in depreciation in 2 years and 33,849 miles, this might be the slowest depreciating spec truck they produce.

I tried to find out if the truck will be 2 wd or 4 wd in the posts so may have missed it. Have have both and with either engine. A 2 wd with the 4 cylinder can actually fit most people's needs when just towing light stuff. If it is equipped with 4 wd, it's a whole other story. Even though it's just 200 lbs heavier, the drag from wherever makes a BIG difference. 4 wd...get the six, 2 wd, you should be fine for your use.

I had the I4 in my 2003 and bought a 2016 4WD with the I4 and a 5-speed manual. It's not a sportscar, but it gets the job done. And it's built for the third world.

Hey Nate, could you get me a pic of the inside of your 2016 SR 4 x4? Is the only difference the 4-wheel drive knob or are there other buttons also?

"Man this truck is just too powerful to get this job done. I wish I had gotten the less powerful version" said NO ONE EVER!

I still stand by my statement that all these truck configurations are great though and I'll always miss my 2.7 regular cab 4x4 very much.

Your statement is excluding the $1,000's more to acquire the v6...

...also the v6 will never be considered "powerful" for the chassis... maybe if they but a boosted v6 in it or a v8

Had to recline the seat all the way to get this. It's the 4WD with the convenience package.

Only other button I found is the active traction control button above the mirror.

In an interview a Toyota rep said the North East is the biggest buyer of Taco 4 wd with 4 cylinders. It seems the farther you travel north east, the more you get into third world. When you get to Maine, 4 cylinder 4 wd Tacos abound. In some places, they sell more then Ford F-150s. It seems the F150 can't fit on the dirt covered "Maine" highways. Many of Maine's roads are considered, "off road " everywhere else.

If you go for a 4cyl you have to get the straight drive. The automatic is sluggish and hunts for gears a lot while towing(drove a friends).
