Got it. I can take you on a cool little power loop of Sycamore. We can also hit Widowmaker. There was a giant party out there a few weeks ago and I guess it's pretty rutted out now

haha! i can swing by, or you should come to our camp at night and lets hit the hill and shit! :) i have alot of friends that camp on that side as well, so i usually make it over there 2-3 times during thanksgiving.

thats exactly why i like to go thanksgiving... the chaos. i live for it! haha.
I like to race people and stuff, so its much better going on busy weekends.
yeah the party was last weekend, and im super bummed i didnt make it. i hear there were rows of trucks all the way across the entire wash in front of widowmaker.
saw some videos it was pretty crazy.
a bunch of people raced the plastic barbie jeeps down widowmaker with full gear on and stuff.. haha my little brother participated. LOL!

Yea I heard it was a huge party and about the barbie jeeps. At least they put gear on. Some people can get fucking stupid in those situations. I also heard they did a decent job with cleanup

Sounds good to me man, I'm game.

I was out there on Saturday for the Desert Fanatics "Downhill Barbie Jeep Run". Damn good turn-out. Turned into a massive party once that sun went down and included a couple drunken fist fights, which were quite entertaining.

yeah people definitely get stupid, thats why i just people watch and be Safe HAHA!
Thats great they did a good job with clean up.
I used to have sycamore parties dam near every weekend and we would all spend about a hour in the morning picking up.
sometime soon i am going to bring out a light tower and host some sand drags.
My dad used to have sand drags in sycamore wash every other weekend with light towers and as a kid i remember it, it was awesome!

Just call me "JD" since there are other Jason's here. Saturday is my preferred day for tooling around, but that doesn't mean I wont go Sunday either. I'm up by 6am everyday and ready to rock by 7. Anytime is good.

We already have a JD and there can be only one.

We will have to Crown you at Rug Road. Don't ask how Fluffer got his name, its a sticky answer.

Care to join in? I'll let Jon spearhead this run since he's pretty familiar with Sycamore. There is at least one trail I want to take when were out there though. Goes up the far left side and up the back of Widowmaker. Always wondered where that led to.

Right on. I still want a go at WM. I crushed it years ago in my '88 Taco, but have yet to run it in this one. Might get a little hairy in those ruts with open diffs but would still be fun as hell to try.

I've seen locked FJs not make it up. I only took the far left. Josh made it up the steep right one but I think his SC and a heavy foot helped.

Saturday, Sycamore Creek. Still need to nail down a time. Figured we could meet up right there at the Bush Hwy/Sycamore Rd transition.

I'll start posting in the AZ Monthly for this one so we don't confuse it with Rug Road. I don't expect many to show up. Early AM runs at Sycamore aren't that popular.
