I'm no expert but in my opinion as long as you're eating and resting enough you can continue at that pace for a long as you like. Take a week off or a deload to let your cns recover(broscience) if need be. When you hit a plateau then maybe you can consider changing it up.

My off days consist of lots and lots of stretching, mostly in my hips and butt.

I am super mobile everywhere except those two areas get a bit tight.

How is everyonestled right/left side muscle control? As in, what's your good/dominant side?

I realized I am super right side dominant with my legs. So I've been working in correcting that with the leg extension machine and stair stepper.

I always thought it was to let your pns. And taking a week off let's your ion gates in the nerves and muscles rest/relax allowing them do fully recover. Then when you come back at 100% efficiency

Then after 2-3 weeks of r&r your muscles and pns nerves get use to not doing it and that's when your mind says yes and your body says no, giving you that "eh" feeling when you lift. And it takes you a few days to get back into it.

But I would be wrong :notsure:

I'm slightly right side I think upper and yeah more lower aka legs. I work to correct it as well or compensate really, when you're walking everyday I think your body probably uses one more than the other.

Also, mixed two preworkouts totaling 1.5 scoops about, just made me feel bad and I still have a leftover preworkout hangover

That was kinda my thoughts on it, too. I've been doing this kind of routine for about 4 or 5 weeks now. Not sure exactly how long. I was going to do a deload week this week...but yesterday after I took my preworkout (which I hadn't had in a while), I felt like I could lift the gym, so I said fuck it and went heavy again.

On my primary exercises, I'm doing 3-4 sets of 3-5 reps.

I'm right handed, and completely retarded with my left, but my whole left side seems to be stronger, bigger, and more "toned". I feel myself pushing more with my left leg on squats, my left side comes up faster on bench, my left bicep is slightly bigger and has a better peak than my right, and my right tires out before my left doing curls

I've noticed from my own observation of myself:

I'm right handed and use that for all the dexterity stuff like writing, cutting food, etc.

My left hand does all the grunt work to free up my right hand and makes that arm bigger...for me not a lot bigger but bigger.

My new years resolution last year was to learn to write with my left hand. Hasn't happened....but eventually I will get around to it :p

    Gauging my progress...

On week 5 of the 5x5, up body weight from 158.2 to 161.2

    Squat250 5x5 (going to 255 on Friday) - started at 190 5x5
    Bench 215 5x5 (going to 220 on Friday) - started at 185 5x5
    Dead 245 1x5 (this is fairly easy) - started at 205 5x5
    OH press 145 5x5 - started at 115 5x5
    Row 165 5x5 (going to 170 on Friday) - started at 135 5x5

I started lower in weight so I could focus on form so I know some of those could be higher, especially deads but you only go up 5lbs from day to day so it's taking some time. The only thing that is extremely straining and close to missing a rep is OH press, though bench is starting to test me.

At this rate, by week 12 I'll be up to

    Squat 360 5x5
    Bench 260 5x5
Dead 300 1x5 (I'm fairly confident I could do that today, maybe just with bad form)
    OH press 200 5x5
    Row 220 5x5

I'll probably start missing reps, especially on bench and OH press around week 8. I think you then go to 3x3 to breach the plateau and then back to 5x5 so I don't expect the pattern to continue and actually hit those numbers, but it will be interesting to max on all these after week 12 and see some gainzzzz!

Edit: it just didn't feel complete without a selfie

I've been adding 5 lbs to my curls every week and at this rate I'll be curling about 320 next year and about 500 in 2 years.
